The new 13-inch M4 iPad Pro is incredibly thin, making repairs challenging for most components except the battery, which can now be removed without having to disassemble the entire device. Despite this improvement, other repairs, such as for the Apple Pencil Pro, prove to be difficult and potentially costly. This raises the question of whether Apple’s focus on thinness and design may sacrifice repairability and sustainability in the long run.
