AMD’s new Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D gaming CPUs are designed with a single 3D V-Cache to keep costs down for gamers. While a dual configuration was considered, it was deemed too expensive to produce. Despite this decision, AMD still expects these CPUs to outperform Intel’s offerings. It raises the question of whether the cost-saving measure was the right decision and if gamers will notice a difference in performance without a dual 3D V-Cache configuration.
